Hey everyone, Nikkiey here with Warrior Babe. And in this video, I’m going to help you master not taking things personally from those friends or family members, as you make changes to your habits and lifestyle, that support the goals that you want to accomplish physically and how you can use this to your advantage to a ignore naysayers and tone up and finally get in control of your body forever. By the end of this video, you’ll be able to believe in yourself more and put a positive bubble around you so you can ignore the opinions and the haters that come your way along your journey. Whatever happens around you don’t take it personally. If someone says to you along your journey and I’ve heard this so many times, hey, you won’t or can’t accomplish that goal. It’s not about you, it’s about them. If you take it personally then, it’s safe to say that you believe that you can’t accomplish the goal, and if that’s the case you are so easily influenced by someone’s else’s opinion. Nothing other people do is because of you. You gotta understand it’s because of themselves. All people live in their own mind. They are in a completely different world from the one that you live in. When you do take something personally or you let others’ opinions influence you then you make the assumption that they know what is going on in your own mind. We make the assumption that they know what our goals are, but they don’t. There’s no way that they can know what your goals are. They don’t see what say, they don’t feel what you want to accomplish. What they say, what they do, the opinions they give are according to the beliefs they have going on in their own minds that they’ve experienced previously. So when someone says, hey, you won’t or you can’t accomplish that goal, what they’re really saying is, hey, I won’t, or I can’t accomplish that type of goal that she is going for but they project that onto you. Their point of view comes from all of the programming, all of the past beliefs that they’ve received throughout their entire lifetime. So if someone gives you the opinion and says you aren’t going to succeed at yet another fitness program, I’ve heard that so many times, especially from supportive people that are in that person’s lifestyle, don’t take it personally because the truth is that this person or you are dealing with your own feelings, beliefs and opinions of your failure at previous attempts of following a fitness program. I’ve heard babes say, “My family or friends don’t support me in what I want to accomplish or do.” Don’t take it personally. Whatever they think and feel is their problem and their problem alone. It is nothing personal because they are dealing with it themselves, not with you. Others are going to have their own opinion according to their belief system so nothing they think about in relation to you is really about you, it is about them. You create, I need you to understand this, the entire picture of your body in your own mind. And in that picture, you are the main character. Everybody else is secondary. It is your own vision of what you want to accomplish. And the way that you see that picture is according to the beliefs that you have made in your own life. So if you think that you can, you will. If you don’t think that you can, you won’t. And then you’ll be easily influenced by the flock of opinions that come your way along your own journey. Your point of view is something personal to you. It is no one’s truth but yours. You have to trust yourself and choose to believe or not believe what someone else says to you. As you practice not taking anything personally you won’t need to place your trust in what others say or do. You will all only need to trust yourself to make the responsible choices that support what you want to accomplish with the vision you hold for yourself. You are never responsible for the actions of others. You are only responsible for you, yourself alone. So the actions you take daily should always be in alignment with what you personally want to accomplish for yourself and your body. When you truly accept this, you won’t get hurt by the careless comments that people say or do inside or outside of your fitness lifestyle. Remember that. And if you are ever in a situation like this moving forward, where you are a part of an opinion being dropped like this, that’s negative to your journey, stand your ground. Stand up for what you want and what you want to accomplish with your body and your goals. Understand this guys that your surroundings shape your energy and your surroundings influence your performance dramatically. Everything outside you affects the way that you think, feel and execute, literally everything. Your personal surroundings include the people that you have conversations with, the people that you follow on social media, the news that you consume, the food that you eat, the books that you read, the place where you live and so much more. It all works together to either move you forward towards your goals or to hold you back. And listen, you can’t surround yourself with people who make you feel bad or spend time in toxic environments. Make sure you stand your ground and increase your inspiration doing things that increase your inspiration. It sounds easy, but I know that it’s harder said than done with the environments that some of us find our ourselves in, but make sure to actively protect your aspirations, your goals, your positivity, so that you generate the results that you truly want for yourself.
