Hey everyone. My name is Lauren. I am 35 years old and I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my husband and my seven-year-old daughter. Growing up, I was always pretty active, I was always out for sports year round. So I never felt like I really had to do an actual workout. And then I moved away for college, not so active, didn’t have those sports, needed to work out but didn’t and definitely gained those 15 plus freshmen pounds and decided I finally needed to stop and make a change. And so starting out, I did P90X. I did Insanity, I did some of the beach body workouts. I bounced back and forth between those and having a gym membership and trying to come up with my own lifting workouts. I got into running for a while. I did a marathon, a couple half marathons, and so I’ve always been active and I’ve always wanted that super athletic like fitness model physique. And even though I felt like I was putting in the work with my workouts, I was never getting there. I might lose weight, but I never had that like toned body that I wanted. So that was always pretty frustrating. And then a few years ago I started doing macros. I don’t even remember where I read about it, but just use one of the generic macro calculators online. Started doing that. I would follow either the cut or the maintenance, but even though I knew I needed the surplus to put on the muscle that I ideally wanted, I was too scared to do it. I didn’t know how to go about doing it, what I needed to do, and so I just always shied away from it. And then one day Nikki’s Facebook ad popped up and she was the first program that I saw where I was like, wow, like this is her program and she looks like that, like, that’s what I want to look like. Her arms are amazing. The shoulders like, ugh, end goal right there. That’s what I want. So I started looking into her program a little bit more, read a lot about it, went back and forth. Really was interested in the blueprint, but honestly just wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the money on it right away. But at that point they did have the revolution, which was their monthly membership. So I did that starting out and within the first few months I really enjoyed it. Made me realize how much I really liked just lifting and just doing cardio and keeping them separate and that kind of thing. And the fact that it is tailored more to you, I really enjoyed that. So it didn’t take me long before I jumped in and decided to get blueprint. Very glad I did. It’s such a cool program, so many different aspects about it that I really enjoy. There’s so much information in it that teaches you how to do this stuff on your own. It will go through and show you how to build your workouts. It will show you how you can adjust your macros based on what your goals are and what to do. And just the whole like mindset, change of food, how it’s there to help you. It’s there to fuel you. It’s just really amazing. All the different things about it are great. I really liked the attitude behind it that Nikki has. I mean, she’s not going to sugar coat it. She tells you that you need to put in the work and it’s a journey. This isn’t a quick fix. It’s going to take a lot of dedication, a lot of work, a lot of consistency and a lot of time. But even though no one wants to hear that because everybody wants a quick fix, it was nice to have somebody be real with you and to not be like, hey, you’re going to look like this in 90 days. Like it’s not going to happen. So I love the program itself. I loved her attitude. The Facebook group is amazing. I’ve always been a little timid and like self-conscious to throw myself out there in that type of a situation, but it’s such an amazing group of positive women. Like there’s no negativity, there’s no shaming of any point. I mean, you can post your pictures on there if you’re having a bad day, if you need advice, if you’re feeling good, like everybody’s your biggest cheerleader. It’s awesome. If you have questions, it’s answered either by one of the coaches or just one of the other girls trying to help out. It’s really great. The Facebook community is really great. Another awesome benefit of the program are the weekly calls. You can either talk to Nikki or one of the VIP coaches and they are there to help you specifically tailor your workout to you based on your goals, which I had never had before. It was always this like cookie-cutter approach in the past of everything that I’ve done. Like, oh, you want to lose weight? Do this. If you want to put on muscle, do this. No, there’s more to it than that, which I really appreciate. Like it might be adding 20 more carbs to your day or reducing five grams of fat or adding or subtracting 10 minutes of cardio here and there. It’s crazy to me how it is tailored to you specifically to get you where you want to go, which I love. I think it’s great. I’ve had that before. So far for me, I started out doing a cut and just tried to lean out a little bit. I was liking that for a little while and then realized, you know what, I need to make the jump. I need to not be scared. I need to trust the process and I need to go into a build. So I’ve been in a build for nine months so far, and I’m probably not going to stop for a while ’cause I just want to keep building. But honestly I can say, I have never noticed this much definition before and my back and my arms, I’ve never had like the shoulder muscles. And even though they’re babies, I can see them, which is awesome. So it’s a lot of hard work. It’s a lot of dedication, but with the consistency, this program will get you there.c I love everything about it and I would definitely recommend it to everyone out there.
