TRANSCRIPT

Hi, I’m Holly Harper, age 37. I have two teenage boys and a husband. I am a CPA and CFO at a college in my hometown and was a CFO at a hospital prior to this for a little over 10 years. When I found WarriorBabe, I started on Blueprint, learning about macronutrients. I knew a little bit about that when I first got into the program. I went through the intensive course that Nikkiey provides and really get more of useful information, how to apply that to my life. And then right at the end of the year, December 30th. Last year I decided to upgrade to VIP, felt like I really needed that one-on-one coaching, accountability is really what I needed. I have a busy life as a Finance Executive. Work is, can be stressful at times, at ebbs and flows, but high demand job at meetings, lots of commission meetings and late night meetings and those kinds of things. And then with my teenage boys that are active in sports, running back and forth between their activities. So I needed something that could help me on a one-on-one basis. So when I got into the VIP program, that’s exactly what I found. Coach Lauren has been great for me. I’ve had her since January 1st. So we are nine months in and really enjoying the program. Prior to that, I had done keto. I had done a low carb and then lost weight on all of those programs, but it wasn’t something that I can maintain in my life. I ended up having some low blood sugar issues because of it. I wasn’t eating enough carbs, trying to run, did run a half marathon prior to that, but just didn’t have the energy and wasn’t making any kind of gains in energy or in my life. So when I switched over to VIP, we really focused in on trying to figure out what my macro mix, is what I call it, needed to be. What kind of results I was looking for. What kind of exercises really made sense for me, cardio included. What fit my schedule? What could I maintain? How would I increase my water intake? How do I become a healthier individual? And when we really delved into the macros and listening to the VIP calls and the team calls that we have weekly. I’m really trying to figure out how do we balance all of those things in our lives and make it work? Because this program is about a lifestyle. We hear that all the time in fitness, but it really is, how do I make counting my macros and measuring my food and making sure I maintain the water and get the sleep that I need. How do I make that a lasting life choice? And I feel like I’m finally getting there, nine months in, and it’s been tough, you know, and I think any life changes really trying to focus in on what I’m eating, eating better food, actually measuring it out, knowing what I’m eating and putting in my body. I want healthier things now, and there has been haters along the way, you know, making fun of me cause I am having my pre-portioned things. And I will say meal prepping is what makes the difference. If you can focus in on meal prepping, that doesn’t mean cooking everything all weekend, but spending some time getting a few meals ready that you don’t have to worry about. Morning and lunch are the two things that i always need to have ready for me. Dinner, I usually have a little bit more time to cook, but if I have meetings and events with the kids, that’s where I spend a little bit of time making those meals. So weight loss wise, in the nine months I haven’t lost a lot of weight, little over 10 pounds. However, my body composition has changed significantly. I’m down two pant sizes. My body looks, I feel like significantly different from when I started. I’m very happy with where I’m at and where I’m heading. Every time I hit a plateau, my coach and I go on our one-on-one. We have a monthly one-on-one and try to figure out, you know, what do we need to tweak this time? I’m still eating almost 1900 calories a day and still able to lose and gain muscle, gain strength. And it makes me feel amazing. And I’m so grateful for the program. I’m grateful for what it has done for me, for my attitude towards life, towards my family, my focus, my determination. So I would recommend anyone that needs that one-on-one that accountability. VIP is the way to go, you will find people to help you. You will find a coach that will help you stay focused. That will push you outside your comfort zone. I hope this helps someone else.
